National Beef is looking for college students ready to explore a career in Sales / Account Management to join our family for the summer of 2026 as Sales Trainee Intern.

Our internship program could jump start your career. You will have the opportunity to work on rewarding projects to solve real business needs. You will be introduced to our company culture and work practices and learn about department functions and how Sales integrates with our entire organization. The summer will end with a presentation to the Sales and Sales Management Team and key department heads to demonstrate what you have learned.

This is an in-person, hands-on experience in our corporate office in Kansas City, Missouri, with time spent in our production facilities and with our external sales team.

This is a paid internship. Housing allowance is included where required.

Program length : 10-12 weeks

Responsibilities

You will be working for an industry leader in beef processing!

This experience will provide you with a broad introduction to the sales function at National Beef Packing and include a six-week rotation through our designated production facilities and field territories. You will work collaboratively with our team and have networking opportunities with senior leadership throughout our organization.

This is an on-site position.

Qualifications

Qualified Candidates for the Sales Trainee Summer Intern position should possess the following :

Enrolled and have completed at least two years in an accredited college degree program focusing in one of the following fields of study :

• Animal Science
• Ag Business
• Business
• Other Related Fields may be considered
• Must be classified as a senior for the 2026-27 academic year
• 3.0 GPA in Core Curriculum classes
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and on-campus involvement
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed on project work
• Proficient user of all Microsoft products
• Intern must be available to work 40 hours per week on-site for the duration of the internship

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
