Linux System Administrator (Louisville)

Location : Louisville, CO

Duration : 6-month contract to hire through Insight Global

Pay Range : $64-82 / hr

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Linux administration experience
• Expert with Linux RedHat
• Experience with automation deployment tools, Puppet preferred
• Experience supporting servers in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure preferred)
• Experience with VMware (VRealize, VRealize Operations, VRealize Automation, hypervisor - highly preferred)

Job Description

A leading company in the commercial space industry is looking for a Sr Linux Administrator to join their growing corporate IT Team. This company builds and delivers the future of space transportation, destinations and infrastructure, offering space-as-a-service in support of the new space economy. In this role, you will be a crucial asset to the team in setting the standards and direction they follow within their Linux environment. You will be responsible for deploying linum operating systems on servers and workstations, working with dev tools to automat day to day activities, user support for development teams, and working with cyber as it relates to cyber standards. You will evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of their systems to correct deficiencies and produce effective data handling, integrity, and storage. This is a contract position through the end of July 2025, with opportunity to convert to an FTE with the company. Health, dental, vision and a 401K are offered throughout the contract period.
