Receiving Coordinator

Join our team as a Receiving Coordinator and become the backbone of campus operations! In this role, you'll do more than just check boxesyou'll ensure every delivery gets where it needs to go, on time and in perfect condition. From verifying shipments to coordinating distribution across departments, you'll keep the flow of goods running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Receive shipments from freight carrier or shipper.
  • Perform visual inspection and receive items into computer tracking system.
  • Safeguard goods until the original purchaser can pick up goods or provide delivery instructions.
  • Assist purchasing and purchasers in resolving discrepancies as they arise.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and inquires as need.
  • Bar code all capital items before releasing them to the purchaser.
  • Provide backup support for Resource Center or Accounting department.
  • Special Projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications

    Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required

    • Skills

  • Computer Skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Communication (written and verbal) and Customer Service Skills
  • Strong Organizational skills with attention to detail

    • Abilities

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
  • Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl throughout the workday
  • Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workday
  • Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
