[job_card.job_description]Maintain budgeted standards for facilities and equipment repairs / Cap Ex projects Increase car counts through efficiencies Reduce or eliminate down time within target Facilitate new hire 30-day training program for Facilities Managers Participate in training of District Manager new hires on daily operating procedures, closing Onsite training of team members concerning quality of wash and best safety practices Maintain a work order target of 1.5 work orders per site Maintain safety standard requirements Ensure landscaping is maintained neat and clean Conduct weekly huddle calls with Facilities team to ensure 100% product Conduct wash quality audits and ensure proper follow up and action Collaborate with Area Vice President and District Managers to provide expert knowledge on Work together with Project Manager to schedule production to budget Assist acquisitions and new development team in launching locations Interact with support office to ensure completion of any licensing or permitting requirements Work directly with VP of Facilities Provide resources to both Facilities Managers and Site team members to deliver a great Scheduled market visits with AFM / DM / AVP Work with 3rd party providers on Cap Ex related projects Actively participate in weekly meetings with operations and support team Provide technical knowledge and support during wash down 4+years of management experience in an industrial, facilities, or manufacturing environment Knowledge of mechanical / electrical components including shafts, bearings, gear boxes, pumps, motors, drives Valid driver’s license Extensive travel, 70% of time Associate degree, equivalent technical training, or appropriate hands-on experience Certification through a tech / trade school beyond high school preferred Ability to effectively train team members on the proper way to safely operate equipment while ensuring a high-quality member experience Strong time management and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Carwash management / mechanical experience preferred Proactive, self-starter on identifying tasks and programs to complete and / or document; strong This position involves sitting, standing, walking and normal physical mobility, including reaching, crawling, crouching, kneeling, stooping, grabbing lifting, pushing, or pulling, and carrying typical equipment up to approximately 100 lbs. in weight. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must have finger & hand dexterity for frequent & continuous operation of all tools / equipment. Clarity of vision both near, far, and peripheral Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech Normal or corrected hearing to the level of ability to accurately decipher normal & abnormal
The Maintenance Director will be responsible for providing technical expertise related to work order processing, reviewing project requirements, maintaining wash quality standards throughout the ZIPS Car Wash organization. This role will involve training of all team members on maintenance, repairs, and safety standards through training programs and scheduled site visits. The goal of this role is drive product quality across all zones of a ZIPS site to 100% operational. This includes supporting a reduction of wash down times, closing site-level work orders, and staying within given capital and operational budgets. This role will work closely with the Area Vice President, Regional Directors, District Managers, local maintenance technicians and Facilities Project Manager to expeditiously address wash down, wash quality, and facilities related issues. They will also be responsible for reviewing, approving, and following
up on completion of any 3rd party scheduled projects.
