Unit : Adult Psychiatry (Locked Unit)

Patient Population : Adults 18+ presenting with a range of psychiatric and dualdiagnosis

conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety,

schizophrenia, psychosis, and substance / alcohol-related disorders.

Unit Size : 14 beds, expanding to 20 beds within 36 months.

Environment : Locked unit; secure behavioral health setting.

Patient Mix : Variable day-to-day; typically a blend of diagnoses and acuity levels.

Staing Model

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 7 when at full census (2 nurses per shift).
