Project Manager – Commercial Construction

A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead construction projects across a diverse portfolio that includes ground-up developments, interior buildouts, and complex renovations. Responsibilities :

Oversee all phases of assigned commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes to ensure timely and profitable delivery.

Coordinate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain alignment on goals and expectations.

Lead project meetings, track progress, and proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact schedule or cost.

Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability on-site and within the project team.

Support estimating and business development efforts through budgeting, value engineering, and proposal input as required.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, ideally with a general contractor.

Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in sectors such as retail, healthcare, office, or mixed-use.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build trust across teams and clients.

Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
