Job Summary : The program supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and maintaining overall functioning of all aspects of the crisis home. In this role, you will provide appropriate support to youth experiencing a mental health crisis while teaching and supporting staff who directly serve the clients on appropriate interventions. This role is a mix of direct care and management responsibilities.
Mount Olivet Rolling Acres - MORA – is a diverse and inclusive nonprofit has supported adults, seniors and children with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs as well as age-related and chronic medical conditions for over 50 years in the Twin Cities metro.
MORA provides an array of services : Adult Day Services, Contracted Case Management, Community Supports, over 30 Residential Homes, Respite, Therapeutic Recreation, Training for Guardians & Families, and a Discover Summer Daytime Programming for Youth with Disabilities. Our Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP) offers a safety net of crucial and cost-effective services for adults and children.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, participate in the on-call rotation with additional hours as needed to support the needs of the home- this can include evenings and weekends.
Hourly Base Rate : $33.00
Weekend differential +$2.00 hour for hours between Fri 10pm and Sun 10pm
Overnight differential +$1.00 hour for hours between 10pm and 6am
($12.41 per hour sleep hours only when assigned)
$1,500 retention bonus for full-time paid out over 1 year.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
In this role, you will support the therapeutic service plan of clients by providing guidance, assistance, and direction to staff who are implementing these interventions to clients.
- When providing direct care, engage with client daily activities and manage behavior according to client’s individual plan and needs.
- Onboard and retain staff by maintaining open communication and fostering a healthy working culture where all staff are welcome and have the appropriate supports to complete their job
- Approach all client and staff interactions from a trauma informed care perspective
- Demonstrate an acceptance and respectfulness toward diversity of clients and staff regardless of gender, race, age, culture, ethnicity, class, religion, disability and gender identity.
- Provide 1 : 1 staff supervision to each youth counselor and lead youth counselor.
- Maintain compliance with all aspects of licensing regulations, including client paperwork, personnel files and house safety and cleanliness
- Review referrals and coordinate and facilitate intakes of clients to the home
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Develop transition support plans for youth in collaboration with youth support team
- Lead the bi-weekly care team meetings for each youth
- Ensure staff are completing required documentation on the electronic health record and adhering to all policies while providing trauma-informed care to clients
- Lead team meetings and hold staff accountable to attending meetings
- Attending meetings at the home office and communicate all agency initiatives to team members at the home.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in social services related field5 years of experience in children’s or adult mental health services in a residential or shelter settingMust pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain “qualified” status.If using your own vehicle for company business, you must have a current valid driver’s license and must have insurance as required by state law.Demonstrates mastery of basic computer skills.Must have ability to commute to the Victoria office as neededBenefits : Full-time employees receive a comprehensive and competitive benefit package, including :
