Status : Per Diem , On - Call

Compensation : $20.00 an hour Non-Exempt

Work Schedule : Varies

Office Location : Brooklyn, NY 11208

Since its beginning in 2002, HousingPlus has worked to address the lack of housing and services for women who have historically been underserved and marginalized, especially women impacted by the criminal justice system, and for the past 10 years, also female Veterans. Position Summary :

In this exciting role, the Residential Aide provides trauma-informed care and supervision to residents, addressing their high level of need and ensuring consistent emotional and behavioral support. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our participants by providing them with the support and assistance they need. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our participants, maintaining a clean and

welcoming environment, and assisting with daily living activities.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Direct care experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic level computer skills such as knowledge in word.
• HousingPlus email usage.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Other task assigned.
