A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver patient-focused care at all times. You are available to start your day here by 7 : 30 when our patients start to arrive for morning monitoring. You oversee your assigned provider's daily schedule and prepare for each appointment by reviewing medical data in the patient chart. As a true people person, you thrive in this environment as you greet patients warmly upon arrival and escort them to the exam room. You then obtain and document their vital signs, weight, and other necessary patient information. You assist our providers with examinations and procedures and are always a calming presence for our patients.

We have you to thank for our examination and procedure rooms always being in order, set up, and ready for each new patient. Additionally, you perform phlebotomy duties and are intent on maintaining a clean and safe environment. You can also plan on some administrative tasks such as managing documents like medical records and test results. You enjoy working in our fast-paced fertility clinic where there is always something to do! And, you feel good about the part you play in making sure that each visit is a pleasant experience for our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience
• Medical assistant certification
