If this description speaks to you, continue reading about the opportunity of MDS Registered Nurse. This is a full-time, 40 hours per weekday position located at St. John's Home.

Position Summary : The MDS RN completes the Minimum Data Sets (MDS) as assigned, while remaining open to learning and mastering other aspects of Reimbursement. Responsibilities include :

• Assist Reimbursement manager as needed.
• Complete nursing portion of all MDS for assigned units.
• Manage documentation requirements for MCA and MCD.
• Determine MCA traditional coverage for admissions / readmissions - continued coverage- cuts.
• Set PPS ARD's.
• Assumes responsibility for own professional growth and development, attends in-service programs that are provided to facilitate compliance with governmental regulations.
• Coach nursing staff on how to assess, plan and implement a resident plan of care using the MDS process.
• Plan and participate in conferences and classes to provide knowledge and practice in resident care.
• Participate in nursing department quality assurance program.
