QualDerm Partners is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our team in Martinsville, VA. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our skilled team in delivering an outstanding patient experience. Your efforts will significantly contribute to the wellbeing of our patients as you assist them on their healthcare journey.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Schedule patient appointments and handle office communications efficiently.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare practices.
- Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
