The role involves managing acute care and ICU patients with nurse practitioner support during the day, while traditional hospitalist medicine will be practiced. Location : Macomb, Illinois. Easy driving distance to St. Louis, Chicago, Springfield, Peoria, and Indianapolis!

Opportunity : Hospitalist needed for ongoing 7on / 7off coverage

ASAP-Ongoing

Urgent Need

Nurse Practitioner support during the day and some evenings (NPs will serve as 1 st call on some nights, Physician still back up call)

Manage acute care and ICU patients

Generally no procedures, possibly chest tubes (have surgery support)

Traditional hospitalist medicine

Active IL or IMLC license required

Compensation : Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice available.
