Responsibilities and Duties :

Responsible for preparing complete dishes from scratch in a wide variety of cuisines; assembling, plating with a high level of consistency and in accordance with customer specifications.

The Ideal Candidate :

• TAIWANESE / CHINESE Culinary Experience is REQUIRED.
• Culinary degree or cooking certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience cooking in a high-volume institutional catering environment preferred.
• Must have strong efficiency in knife skills.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to use fingers / hands to handle equipment.
• Must be able to lift and push 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours.
• Must be flexible and able to react to changing priorities.
• Must have an understanding of various cooking techniques and the ability to follow recipes.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must have a strong understanding of food safety and & HACCP regulations.

Environmental Requirements :

May be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise.

Exposed to hot surfaces.
