Patient Services Specialist

A company is looking for a Patient Services Intermediate to assist with managing diabetes durable medical orders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain diabetes durable medical orders using MiChart

Communicate with patients, providers, and DME companies regarding order status and documentation

Process denials and appeals for DME orders and ensure insurance criteria are met

Required Qualifications

Graduation from high school or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field

Knowledge of basic medical terminology

Experience working in a large complex healthcare setting

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
