Billing Services Team Member Medical Billing Specialist

Position DetailsLocation : Remote (U.S. Based)Hours : MondayFriday, 6 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM PSTTILT will provide all necessary equipment (computer, monitor(s), phone, etc.). The only items candidates are required to provide are a dedicated, quiet, and secure workspace and high-speed internet!Key ResponsibilitiesPost daily charges accurately and efficiently.Review and apply insurance and patient payments, both manually and through ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advices).Work claim rejections and denials from clearinghouses and insurance companies promptly.Manage and resolve open accounts receivable (A / R) to ensure timely reimbursement.Assist monthly with patient statements and end-of-month billing processes.Follow up on denied or unpaid claims and resubmit when appropriate.Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payer issues.Verify insurance coverage and benefits as needed to support accurate billing.Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.Adhere to HIPAA and maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and practice information.Stay current on medical billing regulations, coding standards, and payer guidelines.Qualifications2-3 years of experience in medical billing or a related healthcare administrative role.Proficiency with CGM MEDISOFT PM or CGM APRIMA software preferred.Strong understanding of insurance verification, claim submission, payment posting, and A / R processes.Familiarity with ERA / EOB workflows and handling clearinghouse rejections.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a professional, client-centered approach.Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with the team.Why Join TILTAt TILT Technology, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
