Job Description : Security Project Manager

Location : Quincy, MA -Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage IT projects from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and business teams to ensure seamless project alignment.
  • Apply advanced IT security knowledge to support secure design, implementation, and validation of technologies.
  • Analyze technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation and deliver clear progress updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Utilize analytical and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Visio, JIRA) to support reporting, tracking, and data-driven decisions.

Must-Have Qualifications

IT Security Experience (3+ years)

  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity principles, tools, and controls.
  • Familiarity with secure infrastructure design and risk assessment.

    • Technical Expertise in Core IT Infrastructure

  • Strong understanding of :

    • Hardware and operating systems

  • SAN technologies
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Security technologies and best practices

    • Project Management Skills

  • Proven ability to develop project plans and manage full project lifecycle.
  • Experience in scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and risk management.
  • Ability to work effectively in matrixed environments.
