Position Description (Principal Duties and Responsibilities)
Our Clients Division changes patients' lives by restoring as much function as possible to their jaw. This Unit team takes pride in designing and producing custom temporomandibular joints. The Fossa Production position will have cross training opportunities in wax fossa design, mesh forming, scanning, bonding and other fossa manufacturing processes. Order of areas trained and job duties will be defined by the Fossa Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design a fossa in wax using the prescribed process and the taught knowledge of requirements. Create chip sets from models and wax casting. Scan and create CAM programs of chip sets and mesh surfaces. Press and form the titanium mesh to the patient's anatomy. Prepare and bond UHMWPE to titanium mesh.
