Outside Sales Representative

We have a career opportunity for an Outside Sales Representativethat has a passion for travel and conducting sales in the field via face-to-face interactions. We will consider candidates new to the job force who have a willingness to learn about our products and have a great work ethic. The position will be located at 11128 John Galt Blvd, Ste 500, Omaha, NE 68137, working with different management levelsand support personnel in all other locations.

The impact you will have:

• You will professionally communicate with customers
• You will build and maintain customer relationships through travel to visit with customers at their facilities and potential customers at tradeshows and conferences approximately 30% of the time.
• You will assist with production and purchasing forecasting.
• You will grow respective sales territory annually by researching accounts and generating follow through sales leads.
• You will learn product information and manufacturing procedures for the products ALI promotes.
• You will confirm and submit orders and provide price quotes to customers.
• You will advise customers on material stock statuses, special order requirements and payment policies.
• You will maintain customer data and manage customer updates and changes.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid driver’s license
• Enhanced industry (Pharmaceutical, Human nutrition, Pet nutrition (enzymes, palatants)) and product knowledge, preferred
• Detailed-oriented, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and other basic computer skills

Must be willing to travel approx. 30%.
