Travel Nurse RN - PCU / Stepdown - $1,854 to $2,054 per week in Elkhart, IN

Travel PCU RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Indiana. Shifts consist 12 hours 7-7 : 30. This is a busy cardiac step-down unit. Experience with post-cardiothoracic surgery patients, cardiac arrhythmias, pacemakers, MI required.47 beds, Nurse to Patient Ratio : 1 : 3-4 for days and 1 : 4-5 for nights. 1 year of experience is required. Types of Patients : Cardiac, Respiratory, Neurological, Abdominal, Primary diagnosis is Cardiac, Common Secondary Diagnoses (Renal, Diabetes, COPD, Pneumonia, CVA / TIA, General surgical patients w / cardiac complications), Other (Renal, Diabetics, Arterial TPA specials patients). Equipment used : Cardiac Telemetry, PCA and Epidural Pain Managerment, Data Dock Blook Glucose Machines, Comuterized dispensing and charging of Narcotics (Suremed), Computerized dispensing and charging of supplies (Omnicell).
