Consignment Payment Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Consignment Payment Specialist to efficiently handle the high volume processing of consignments. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all consignments are paid punctually while complying with our remittance processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consignor files by reviewing contract essentials, performing VAT verification, conducting lien searches, and entering banking and supplier information into the Oracle Supplier Maintenance module.
• Prepare seller settlement statements accurately.
• Accountable for drafting accounting journal entries based on the seller statements.
• Review seller invoices for compliance with seller settlement statements to ensure timely payment by the Accounts Payable team.
• Prepare comprehensive Sale reconciliation reports.
• Manage Supplier Maintenance for all payables; create new suppliers in Oracle, update current suppliers, and merge duplicates when necessary.
• Ensure accurate entry of banking information in the Oracle Customer Maintenance module.
• Oversee the request, search, and review of public recording documents to ascertain lien status against properties.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
• Engage in continuous improvement of procedures through innovative solutions to tackle growth and business challenges effectively.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
