Summary

NAEYC Accredited center in North St. Louis County with Head Start Early Head Start has openings in the following positions :

• Infant / Toddler Teacher
• Preschool Teacher
• Preschool Teacher Assistant
• Floater

We are looking for teachers and teacher assistants to join our team that want to provide quality education in North St. Louis County. We believe in building relationships with the whole child and family.

Desired teacher should demonstrate the following characteristics :

Be Energetic, Patient, Creative, and have a Love for children

Have an understanding of educating the whole child and classroom management

Be dependable, flexible and reliable

Ability to multi-task and have good time management and organizational skills

Ability to problem solve, communicate well with others, work well with others and part of a team

Duties

Have an understanding of and ability to do : assessments ,documentation, lesson planning, classroom management and developmentally appropriate classroom activities

Good communication skills with families and team members.

Requirements

The desired teacher must also :

Have minimum 2 years' experience working with children preferably infants / toddlers 2 year olds

Experience and understanding with Head Start and Early Head start

Have a minimum 12 college credit hours or CDA in Early Childhood

Associates Degree preferred
