Sr. Accountant

Job Title : Sr. Accountant Job ID : 82485 Location : Valencia, California Overview : Our client is a small but growing medical device manufacturer seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join their team onsite in Valencia. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to make a direct impact in a growing organization. As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining the general ledger, managing month-end close, preparing reconciliations and journal entries, supporting audits, and assisting with reporting and compliance. • Lead the month-end close process : prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analyses
• Manage daily cash applications, deposits, and monthly reconciliations
• Record payroll entries and benefit-related accruals (401K, FSA, workers' comp, etc.)
• Handle general ledger accruals (prepaids, professional fees, consulting, etc.)
• Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and partner with department heads to resolve discrepancies
• Support audits and tax compliance by preparing reports and documentation
• Troubleshoot accounting issues related to billing, cash, A / R, A / P, and payroll
• Maintain accounting documentation and desk procedures within FloQast
• Participate in ad hoc projects to support accounting, reporting, and finance operations

What you must have :
