At John DeCock's Farmers Insurance located in Davenport, Iowa we are growing our sales teams. Our business has grown year after year and we are looking to bring on new team members to facilitate that growth. We are a full service insurance business providing Auto, Home, Business, and Life Insurance to help protect our clients and their assets. Responsibilities

  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
  • Communicate with our hot leads
  • Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
  • Understanding prospects needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads and referral sources
  • Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, and potential client lists
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

  • Sales experience or a client-facing background is a plus
  • Insurance experience is preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, be resourceful, and be coachable
  • Posses an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency
