Job Title : Cleanroom Technician

Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices while working within a controlled, sterile, medical-grade manufacturing area.

Responsibilities

• Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures.
• Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
• Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products.
• Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and participate in line meetings as needed.
• Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
• Maintain cleanroom integrity by using proper attire and adhering to cleanroom environment practices and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records / documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special projects.
• Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities.
• Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE all day. Adhere to a professional, clean-cut business casual culture. Jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, perfumes, or colognes are not permitted. The first shift operates from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, and the second shift is from 3 : 30 pm to 11 : 30 pm. A 5-7 week training period is provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20 / hr.
