As a Finance Specialist within PNCs commercial loan organization you will be based in Overland Park KS.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in financial reporting and data analysis particularly within the commercial real estate and loan servicing industry. The Finance Specialist will play a key role in transforming complex financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership.

Preferred Experience :

Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with the commercial real estate and loan servicing sectors.

Technical Proficiency : Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables VLOOKUP and complex formulas.

Reporting Expertise : Experience creating and managing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Database Experience : Hands-on experience with financial reporting databases.

Key Skills for Success :

Strong analytical skills with the ability to process large volumes of financial data to identify trends anomalies and opportunities.

Ability to summarize findings into concise executive-ready presentations and reports.

High attention to detail and commitment to thoroughness.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description

• Provides a variety of foundational financial management and accounting services.
• Prepares and determines content for internal financial and business metric reports and information to support quarterly and annual external reports.
• Responsible for identifying and escalating key risks to management. Prepares financial data and analysis to support risk management in order to evaluate implications and make recommendations to management. Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes. Compiles data used for Stress Testing Projections.
• Delivers ad hoc finance and accounting analysis which may include management accounting analysis. Monitors and evaluates performance and authors and delivers communications as appropriate.
• Prepares and delivers information in response to requests and requirements of auditors regulators and investors. Contributes to or delivers annual budgets or monthly forecast updates.
