Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish language proficiency is a plus . Problem-Solving : Ability to anticipate challenges and provide practical solutions under pressure. Medical Records Management : Order, review, and summarize medical records for discovery responses. Client Communication : Conduct regular interviews and provide timely case updates. Case Preparation : Evaluate cases for attorney review and filing. Workflow Management : Oversee case progress using electronic case management systems. Document Drafting : Prepare pleadings, complaints, discovery responses, and professional correspondence. Attorney Support : Assist attorneys and senior paralegals with case strategy and preparation. Deadline Management : Track statutes of limitations and ensure timely filings. What Youll Do :
- Discovery Management : Oversee the entire discovery process, including drafting and responding to requests, coordinating document production, and maintaining privilege logs.
- Litigation Support : Assist with legal research, deposition preparation, trial preparation, and post-trial filings to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
- Case Oversight : Organize case files, maintain litigation calendars, and track critical deadlines to keep matters on schedule.
- Collaboration : Work closely with attorneys, internal teams, and outside counsel to ensure timely and accurate case handling.
- Record Maintenance : Manage and organize litigation records, filings, and correspondence in compliance with legal standards.
