Description

Inline Filling Systems (IFS), located in Palmetto, FL, is looking to add a Field Service Technician to the growing team. In this role, you would be a critical face of our company, responsible for the successful installation, maintenance, and training of our advanced liquid filling and depositing equipment, traveling frequently to our customers' facilities nationwide.

Key Responsibilities :

This role requires a blend of hands-on expertise in the field and critical technical support from the factory.

Field Service & Customer Engagement (approx. 60%-75% Travel)

• Installation & Commissioning : Travel to customer locations (including Manufacturing, Chemical, Food, Health & Beauty, and Distilleries) to assemble, install, and successfully commission new machinery.
• Expert Troubleshooting & Repair : Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and complex electro-mechanical repairs on existing equipment to quickly restore full operation.
• Training & Consultation : Conduct comprehensive, hands-on training for customer staff on machine operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting, acting as a technical consultant to optimize their filling process.
• Service Management : Manage the entire service call, including direct customer relations, working independently to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Factory & Remote Support (approx. 25%-40% Time)

Relevant Military technical training / certification also considered a strong equivalent substitute for an associate's degree.
