Shape precision from sheet to finished part

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with an industry leader in Edina to hire a skilled CNC Converting Machinist who excels in setting up, programming, and operating specialized production equipment. You’ll work hands-on with advanced systems including the Preco , Delta Crusader Rotary Converter , Fecken Kirfel K 21 , and Zünd G3 L-3200 digital cutter to deliver parts that meet exacting specifications.

A day in the role

  • Kick off production by setting up and programming machines for the day’s work orders.
  • Run equipment to spec , monitor quality, and perform efficient changeovers between jobs.
  • Troubleshoot machine and process issues to keep lines moving.
  • Conduct in-process and post-run inspections to verify compliance with drawings and standards.
  • Track and record the actual material usage for each run.
  • Support production continuity with other duties as assigned .

What you bring

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated experience operating CNC-type machinery .
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Technical proficiency with computer-driven equipment and precise calibration.

    • Schedule

    1st shift : Monday–Thursday, 6 : 00 AM–3 : 30 PM; Friday, 6 : 00 AM–10 : 00 AM.
