Job Title : CNC Operator

Job Description

Join a renowned full-service production CNC machine shop, established in 1946, that manufactures diverse metal parts for industries such as agriculture, construction, and mining worldwide. Operate cutting-edge CNC machines, primarily Mazaks, to produce components for notable clients, ensuring quality and efficiency in every task.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and Machining Centers to produce a variety of small to large parts with minimal scrap.
• Review drawings, instructions, and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Plan the proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments efficiently.
• Inspect parts using gauges and ensure quality through measuring skills and SPC chart tracking.
• Document completed labor and quality checks, reporting errors and defects.
• Identify machine / tool maintenance needs and perform minor repairs.
• Learn and perform machine set-ups using provided documentation to organize necessary equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Work Environment

Work on all 3 shifts, with a 15% premium on off shifts. While overtime is available, it is not mandatory, with opportunities to work over 50 hours. The shop is well-lit, with work orders set through 2025, ensuring a busy and stable work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ixonia, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00 / hr.
