Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, providing care to a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients experiencing hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, alongside medical overflow cases.What You'll Do :

Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment and individualized care planning.Recognize changes in patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and reduce risk.Coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning.Evaluate team and patient outcomes, taking action for improvements.Demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills.Promote patient safety and report incidents timely.Participate in quality improvement initiatives.Engage in professional development and mentoring opportunities.Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific care requirements.Licensure and Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited Nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
