Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales and profit objectives.
  • Identify contact and negotiate with potential and existing customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer quotes and orders.
  • Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Attend trade shows conventions and professional events as directed to promote company products and services.
  • Provide performance coaching and leadership to assigned team members and ensure departmental alignment with company goals.
  • Prepare and submit required sales reports and forecasts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Meet or exceed all customer expectations.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Required : High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred : Bachelors degree in engineering Technology or a related field
  • Experience :

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferably in the heat exchanger industry)
  • Proven success in business development and customer relationship management
  • Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to interpret technical information and industry trends
  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing sales reports and proposals
  • Strong problem-solving negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Assertive personality in a highly competitive industry
  • Ability to perform business and technical math calculations accurately
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Other Requirements :

  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in both office and field environments; including but not limited to having full range of body movements precise command of all five senses and ability to work long hours if needed.
