Administrative Law Attorney – 5+ Years

Location : Houston, TX (In-Office)

Compensation : $180,000 – $275,000 base, commensurate with experience

A well-established mid-size firm is seeking an Administrative Law Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its business law practice. The team advises and represents clients across industries in licensing, compliance, and regulatory disputes.

Role Overview

Advise clients on compliance, licensing, and administrative procedures

Represent clients before state agencies, boards, and commissions

Handle contested case hearings, enforcement actions, and appeals of agency decisions

Draft pleadings, briefs, and related filings

Provide strategic guidance to businesses navigating regulatory frameworks

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school

Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar

5+ years of administrative law experience

Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills

Ability to manage a sophisticated docket independently

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary $180,000 – $275,000 DOE

Defined bonus based on performance

10 PTO days + 5 personal days in year one
