Data Center Cable Technician

We're seeking a Fiber and Copper Installation Technician to support a new data center build in Montgomery, AL. This role involves installing and splicing both fiber and copper cabling in a fast-paced construction environment. If you have experience with cabling and are committed to safety and quality, this is a solid opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects.

• What You'll Do
• Install and splice fiber optic and copper cabling
• Perform terminations and ensure proper labeling and testing
• Work onsite in a construction environment, adhering to all safety standards
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet project deadlines
• Participate in safety training and wear required protective equipment
• What You Bring
• Hands-on experience with fiber installation and splicing
• Experience with copper installation and splicing
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work onsite and comply with safety protocols
• Nice to Have
• Familiarity with data center builds and structured cabling standards
• Previous experience in telecom or low-voltage environments
• Ability to travel for future projects

This is a Contract position based out of Montgomery, AL.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr.
