Nights, with 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, and holiday rotation

Unit Overview :

Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you will care for a diverse patient population including :

Post-operative care for craniotomies, spinal surgeries, and stroke patients

Cutting-edge treatment techniques from the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII)

Your Role :

Deliver and coordinate evidence-based patient care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

Implement critical thinking and clinical judgment in all interactions

Enhance patient experiences across the healthcare continuum

Major Responsibilities :

Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans

Monitor and respond to patient condition changes effectively

Facilitate patient safety and education

Coordinate discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and professional development

Licensure and Education :

Registered Nurse license and BLS certification required

Completion of an accredited Nursing program

1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred

Physical Requirements :

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and transferring patients

May be exposed to hazardous materials and situations requiring protective equipment
