The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS), headquarters located in New Orleans, LA, needs one (1) board certified / board eligible mental health Substance Use Disorder Treatment (SUDT) Psychiatrist. This psychiatrist will provide therapeutic care, treatment, medication management, and rehabilitative services to veterans suffering from opiate and alcohol addictions in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Services will be redirected as needed in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and the schedule of this solicitation from the effective date with options to extend this proposed contract. A background investigation is required. VA experience is preferred.
