Facilities Administrator

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Facilities Administrator for a manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Pay rate : $20

Shift : Day shift - hours TBD

Position Summary :

Under general supervision of Corporate Office Director or Human Resources / Office Administrator incumbent will be responsible for general building maintenance and repair. Will also perform janitorial duties such as cleaning the restrooms, employee break rooms, offices and warehouse.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Will provide light "handyman" or "fix-it" duties to include but limited do light plumbing repair, painting, and normal upkeep and repair of the building.
  • Cleans, sweeps, mops restrooms, production area, tool room, warehouse, employee break rooms and office areas.
  • Cleans and replenishes paper and soap products in the employee restrooms and kitchen areas.
  • Sweeps and removes debris from the production and warehouse floors, the parking lot and other areas surrounding the building.
  • Cleans the employee refrigerators.
  • Additional related duties may be assigned, as needed.

Education and / or Experience :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant janitorial / hand man work experience
  • Knowledge of general concept of cleaning principles and Safe work rules.
  • The ability to walk primarily on a level surface throughout the day.
  • The ability to climb and descend stairs daily.
  • The ability to bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, reach above, at and below shoulder and / or waist level.
  • The ability to see to read from written documents and electronic means
  • The ability to listen and hear to receive instructions speak on the telephone and hear safety / fire alarms.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance; more than 50 pounds with assistance.
