We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Architect with strong healthcare planning expertise and Epic CompassRose experience to support high-priority healthcare projects in Louisville KY. This role focuses on architectural design clinical workflow integration and coordination with healthcare IT and clinical stakeholders to deliver compliant efficient and patient-centered facilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead architectural planning and design for healthcare facilities including hospitals clinics and ambulatory care centers
Apply Epic CompassRose data to inform space planning clinical workflows and operational layouts
Translate clinical operational and IT requirements into architectural solutions
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and codes (FGI Guidelines NFPA ADA local/state codes)
Develop programming schematic design design development and construction documentation
Coordinate with clinicians healthcare planners IT teams engineers and consultants
Participate in user group meetings design reviews and stakeholder presentations
Support construction administration including RFIs submittals and site visits
Maintain design quality accuracy and alignment with project goals
Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture
Proven experience using Epic CompassRose (required)
5 years of healthcare architecture experience
Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare space planning
Proficiency in Revit (required)
Knowledge of healthcare codes standards and regulatory requirements
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Licensed Architect
Experience working directly with hospital systems or large healthcare networks
Familiarity with Epic EHR ecosystem beyond CompassRose
Experience with large-scale healthcare renovations or new construction
LEED or healthcare sustainability experience
