Job Description

As a Security Officer - Screening Desk in Kailua, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Screener in a bustling food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with guests and staff, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Pay Rate : $18.12 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter prohibited items from entering the facility and / or production areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or irregularities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Communicate with site staff and Allied Universal management regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
