• The starting pay range for this position is $85,000/year increasing with experience and education.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

• You will assist in financial planning, analysis and reporting for the Plant, Feed Mill, Hatchery, and Breeder/Broiler operations.
• Help in overseeing accounting staff in plant and live operations.
• Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, preparing and reporting financial performance.
• Assist in monthly closing process, and issuance of performance and financial reports.
• Monitor and report cost drivers, operational performance and variances to stated standards.
• Assist with general ledger, identifying fluctuations and root causes.
• Mentor, coach, train and cross-train employees, encouraging career development while providing consistent feedback.
• Additional relevant duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM...

• Must have a Bachelor degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or other closely related field of study.
• Must have relevant accounting experience; preferably within similar manufacturing environment.
• Ideally you will have a CPA certification.
• Knowledge of financial indicators and product cost modeling; preferably within meat processing, grow-out, hatchery and feed mill operations.
• Strong technology and computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of Adage, M-Tech or other similar systems/ software preferred.

THE ENVIRONMENT YOU CAN EXPECT...

• You will be working in a typical office environment within a manufacturing environment.

Benefits and incentives are available after probationary period of employment, 401k available after 1 year of employment. Team members must meet eligibility requirements to earn incentives and bonuses. Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits, incentives and bonuses.
