Description : Overview
The Data Analyst interfaces with various department members based on project demands to facilitate communication regarding reporting of all data used by the organization.
Essential Responsibilities
1) Collaborate with internal teams to provide insightful reports that measure progress, support revenue generation, and ensure compliance with external stakeholder requirements.
2) Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to support business objectives
3) Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
4) Assist with the roll-out of any new technologies which aim to improve data collection, integration, or analysis.
5) Work to define the challenge or process and research / recommend solutions including use of existing technology.
6) Fulfill many of the research requirements of both the technology and department perspectives to ensure the feasibility of proposals and the success of selected solutions.
7) Fully understand and augment any current documentation around business processes to aid in improvement plans; requires an acceptance that we can’t make it better if we don’t understand it as it is today.
8) Support data cleansing and data validation processes to ensure high-quality analysis.

1) Attend staff meetings and participate in team planning sessions
2) Engage in self-development activities to strengthen skills required for position
3) Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
o Bachelor’s degree in related field.
o 1+ years of prior experience in similar or related role
Technical Proficiencies
o Proficient in SQL for querying databases
o Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is a plus
o Understand of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
o Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure.
o Familiarity with ERP and CRM Systems for reporting purposes.
o Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate – Power Apps)

o Excellent listening and questioning skills
o Ability to establish a positive working relationship with staff and other Customer Service oriented professionals

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Frequent walking, standing and prolonged periods of sitting
Reaching, bending and occasional stair climbing
May encounter occasional exposure to fumes and / or airborne particles, and hear moderate noise from office and warehouse equipment
