Duties and Responsibilities :
Assist the Activities Director with developing, organizing, and carrying out daily programs and special events.
Encourage and assist residents to participate in group and individual activities suited to their interests and abilities.
Escort residents safely to and from programs, meals, or outings.
Record resident participation, engagement levels, and preferences accurately.
Support special facility events, holiday celebrations, and intergenerational programs.
Maintain organization, safety, and cleanliness of the activities area and supplies.
Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where residents feel valued and supported.
Represent Hudson Springs Nursing & Rehab in a professional and positive manner at all times
Compensation and Schedule
Full Time, 40 hours / week
Day Shift, Every other Weekend (One late night each week)

Skills and Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
STNA certification preferred (or prior experience providing direct care in a long-term care setting).
Compassionate, creative, and energetic personality with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage residents through purposeful and enjoyable activities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must meet all state and federal health and background requirements.
