Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries. Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program . High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, alongside medical overflow cases . Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for safe and compassionate care. Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking for optimal patient outcomes. Contribute to enhancing the patient experience across the care continuum. Become part of a supportive team culture that values connection, with regular team-building activities and community outreach. Thrive in an environment that promotes teamwork and patient-centered care . Use the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, and implementing personalized care interventions. Anticipate significant changes in patient conditions and adapt care plans accordingly. Implement strategies focused on patient safety and risk reduction. Coordinate discharge planning utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. Provide ongoing evaluation of patient and unit outcomes, taking action as necessary. Utilize ethical decision-making to collaborate with the care team. Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development and fulfill educational requirements. Demonstrate knowledge necessary to provide age-appropriate care for patients. Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA. Completion of an accredited program in Nursing. Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience. Ability to provide holistic patient care with a family-focused approach. Confidence in responding to changing clinical situations. Proficient in using electronic medical records and communication tools. Strong communication, interpersonal, and human relation skills. Ability to make critical and independent decisions effectively. Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration, delegation, and team-building skills. Maintain annual education requirements for hospital-based certifications. Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Capacity to lift, carry, push, and pull as indicated by job duties. Protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary. Possess functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch; fine manipulation skills for procedures. Operate all equipment necessary to perform the job effectively.
