Pro Rehab , an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business, is looking for a Speech Therapist to join our staff at The Homestead at Rochester Rehab and Living Center, in Rochester, MN . Position Type : Part-Time

Wage Range : $45 - $55 / hour depending on experience.

Bonus : $2,500

Location : 1900 Ballington Blvd NW, Rochester, MN 55901

Speech Therapist Responsibilities :

  • Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders : Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to : patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop & Implement Treatment Plans : Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
  • Provide Speech & Language Therapy : Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
  • Educate & Support Patients & Families : Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
  • Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment : Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare & Education Teams : Work with doctors, teachers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

Speech Therapist Qualifications :

  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
  • Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care.
  • Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care practices.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
