CTG is seeking an Enterprise Architect for our client, M&T Bank, to lead the design and execution of technology strategies and solutions in Consumer Banking. This role drives architecture for complex, high-priority initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and forward-looking solutions.

Location : Buffalo, NY

Duration : 6 months

Key Responsibilities :

Define and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps, and standards.

Develop high-level and detailed solution architectures for delivery teams.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, risk frameworks, and data privacy standards.

Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align solutions across digital platforms, core banking, and client services.

Provide governance and oversight throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

Advise senior leadership and communicate architectural concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor solutions for enterprise adoption.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

7+ years in cloud architecture; 3+ years focused on Retail / Consumer banking technology.

Strong knowledge of solution design, enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman), and financial services.

Experience with software engineering, application integration, and architectural governance.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred :

Experience with retail banking platforms (Hogan, Genesys, ATMs, workflow, robotics).

Knowledge of institutional banking products, digital banking innovations, and emerging technologies.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
