As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate communication and de-escalation skills.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe any unusual conditions.
  • Observe and report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the location.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft or policy violations, and by reporting such incidents in accordance with site procedures.
  • Interact professionally with the public, staff, and vendors to provide information and assistance as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
