Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,765 per week in Charlotte, NC

The unit is fast-paced and handles a high volume of patients. Typical diagnoses include respiratory illness, chest pain, abdominal pain, stroke, and critical trauma stabilization. Staffing ratios typically are RN 1 : 4 and LPN 1 : 4. Support within the department includes CNAs and charge nurses. Floating to other facilities within the region may be required and will be compensated during travel time. Weekends will be scheduled on an every other basis. Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays. Up to 6 days off may be approved, excluding holidays. Required skills include cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with critical care drips, PIV starts, TNK / TPA administration, and conscious sedation. Teamwork is emphasized within the unit culture. Scrub color is navy.
