About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Construction Site Coordinator to support active construction operations inside a State-run prison facility in Westville, IN . This position requires exceptional integrity, strong administrative skills, and the ability to work effectively around construction trades and correctional staff.

You will support daily construction activities, documentation, scheduling, and communication while ensuring compliance with all state facility regulations and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily contractor access, site check-in, and credential procedures
• Maintain detailed project logs, documentation, and compliance records
• Support Field Superintendent with scheduling, planning, and site readiness checks
• Conduct job site walkthroughs and ensure areas meet required standards
• Communicate effectively with state facility staff, contractors, and internal teams
• Attend onsite meetings and record minutes, updates, and action items
• Track labor hours, delivery schedules, and work progress
• Help manage safety expectations and ensure adherence to site rules
• Maintain professionalism at all times in a secure and controlled environment

Qualifications & Requirements

✅ Clean background — required (state security clearance process)

✅ Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing

✅ Strong administrative and documentation skills

✅ Comfortable working inside a correctional environment

✅ Ability to work professionally with construction crews & state personnel

✅ High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

✅ Strong written & verbal communication abilities

✅ Tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling systems, document control)
