Primary Function : The Construction Contract 2 (C2) Scheduler is responsible for the detailed review, analysis, and monitoring of all scheduling activities specifically related to Construction Contract 2 (C2). This individual will ensure the C2 Design-Build contractor's schedules are compliant with contract requirements, accurately reflect project progress, and integrate seamlessly into the overall Integrated Master Project Schedule (IMPS). The role requires rigorous analysis of contractor schedule submittals, identification of risks, and proactive development of mitigation strategies to keep the C2 contract on track.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Schedule Review and Analysis : Perform detailed reviews and analyses of the C2 contractor's preliminary, baseline, and monthly schedule update submittals.
• Prepare and submit schedule analysis reports on the C2 contractor's submittals to the Program Schedule Manager within 5 business days of receipt.
• Analyze the critical and near-critical paths of the C2 schedule, identifying driving activities and comparing them against previous updates.
• Review the cost and resource loading of the C2 contractor's schedules to help develop a baseline cash flow and resource plan for tracking progress.
• Integration and Reporting : Provide all necessary C2 progress data and analysis for the monthly update of the program-wide Integrated Master Project Schedule (IMPS).
• Identify and explain any significant gains, slippages, or deviations between the PMC's forecast dates for C2 and the contractor's schedule updates.
• Contribute C2 schedule data to the project-wide dashboard, including the roll-up bar chart showing progress against baseline and critical paths.
• Risk and Claims Support : Assist in preparing Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) related to C2 contractor claims for compensable delays and impact costs, using industry-accepted best practices.
• Maintain contemporaneous records of C2 work progress, including excusable and non-excusable delays, and mitigation or recovery efforts.
• Identify potential C2 schedule risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies and schedule recovery efforts for impacted work.
• Support the Program Schedule Manager and Commercial Team in claim negotiations and dispute resolution for the C2 contract.
