Job Title : Accounting Clerk
Type of Role : (Contract)
Expected Length of Contract : (1-2 months)
Shift / Hours : Monday – Friday (Flexible Hours)
Location : Salinas, CA
Hourly Range : $18-$20
Role and Responsibilities :
Matches Purchase Orders, Receivers, and Invoices
Data Entry of PO Invoices and Operations Invoices in SAGE
Answers all vendor inquiries Analyzes vendor accounts
Prepares Weekly Check Run Selection in SAGE according to Direction from Director of Accounting
Process all manual checks in SAGE.
Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
Filing – Accounting Reports and Check Packets Account Analysis – Prepaid Expenses, Monthly Accrual, and Allocation Journal Entries Monthly Sales Commission Reports Petty Cash – Reconciliation and control. Physical Inventory Audits, Monthly and Annually. Assist the Director of Accounting as required. Month End Closing duties
