Job Title : Senior Project Engineer
Position Summary
The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for directing and assisting the Project Managers in their job
functions for the successful completion of the assigned projects. This role combines strong engineering
knowledge, project coordination, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure
designs and deliverables meet performance, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Quoting and Management
Lead and support Project Managers in the preparation of project quotes, cost estimates, and
proposals.
Assist Project Managers in learning Biopharm manufacturing and provide technical input and
support during project quoting and estimating.
Review customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to ensure feasibility and
compliance.
Train Project Managers in the job processing company procedures.
Assist Project Managers as they work through the various stages of their assigned projects.
Process numerous customer inquiries related to past, present, and potential future projects.
Overall support and Quality Focus : Demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks
as assigned to support the overall organization. Participates in the companys continuous quality
improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction.
Engineering Design and Project Execution
Lead the design, development, and validation of engineered solutions, ensuring compliance with
applicable codes, standards, and procedures.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and documentation using CAD, Word,
Excel, etc.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and procurement to ensure
designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
Oversee project engineering activities to meet scope, schedule, and budget commitments.
Identify and resolve technical issues, design challenges, or cost constraints as they arise.
Project Tracking and Oversight
Monitor projects, including monthly review of scheduling
Identify projects that are off target and proactively schedule resource constraints.
Conduct final project reviews to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Scheduling and Coordination
Maintain and manage the master project timeline, coordinating closely with the Production
Manager to track progress and align priorities.
Ensure project milestones are met and schedules are updated to reflect current status and
resource availability. Communicate progress, risks, and changes effectively across departments
and with customers.
Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, ensuring alignment with company
goals and customer expectations.
Mentor and develop project staff to strengthen project management capability and organizational
effectiveness.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mechanical or chemical engineering; or equivalent combination of training
and experience.
Minimum of 5-10 years related work experience.
Proven experience managing complex, high-value projects from inception through completion.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
and other project management and engineering software tools
